Sheffield Skincare Company offers a complete line of all-natural skin care products, handcrafted in Sheffield from the finest natural ingredients available. We use UK based ethical retailers to source our ingredients and use UK based companies for our packaging where available.
We are a small scale independent business providing wholesale and retail natural skincare to retailers across the UK
We make our products by hand from our HQ in Sheffield, with our four man/woman team. Each item/product is made with love and care and we always follow strict Good Manufacturing practices. Our products are made to order to ensure you receive the freshest ones available.
We do a number of vegan products, these are clearly labelled on our website and on the wholesale order form, as well as all our plastic free products.
All our products are UK certified and registered and all our products have been independently tested by a registered cosmetic chemist recognised in accordance to UK law In the United Kingdom (UK), the manufacture of cosmetics is governed by the EU Cosmetics Regulation ((EC) No. 1223/2009).
How we work
At Sheffield Skincare Company we offer wholesale prices to registered businesses.
if you’re interested in working with us and stocking our products, we ask that you provide us with some information about your business. I.e. links to websites, Facebook pages and other business links.
PLEASE NOTE WE WORK WITH MAINLY SMALL INDEPENDENT SHOPS AND ONLINE BUSINESSES, WE DO NOT SELL ON AMAZON.
All our prices are in GBP and information on wholesale pricing is available on our wholesale and trade page, here you will find the most up to date version and pricing. This has been set up to add up the total of your order to make it easier for you. Just save the file when you have completed it under your name and send back to us as an attachment. or just order directly through the website with you wholesale account and you reductions will be automatically removed form your order.

Our minimum spend at Wholesale is £200 i.e. place this amount in your basket and you will receive 35% off
place £200 of products at RRP you will receive a discount in your basket of 35% of the RRP Price.
Place £500 or products in your basket at RRP and you will receive a discount of 45% off the RRP
Place £1000 of products into your basket at RRP and you will receive a discount of 50% off RRP.
Our prices have been calculated carefully to be able to offer this reduction to you the retailer and keep prices low for our regular shop and online retail customers too.
Please note we are not VAT registered at this time so prices are without VAT
Payment for wholesale orders is to be made at the point of order, we may be able to offer you a 30-day payment schedule if you are ordering regular amounts and strictly monthly. This will be at the discretion of Megan Beardsmore the company owner and once a monthly schedule has been agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time when we feel that this in necessary, due to rising costs in ingredients and shipping. You will be informed when this happens and we will send you a new order form.
Turn around on your order
All our products are made to order, to ensure you receive the freshest products available, to sell on to your customers. This means that Lead times from order to delivery can vary depending on the quantities you require. Most wholesale orders can be delivered within a 7 working day period, however, please note that our cold process soaps take time to cure from pouring to curing time. So large soap orders/orders may take up to 3-4 weeks to be delivered.
We suggest if you are ordering any of our cold process soap products that you order with plenty of notice to ensure you are not short of products for your customers. Also, busy times of year such as Mother’s/Father’s day and especially Christmas we can get quite busy and lead times will increase. Again, we suggest any Christmas stock is placed as early as possible allowing plenty of warning, (Our Last order date for soaps is 10th November, other products 1st December) so you don’t go short.
We will always give you an expected date of delivery for any order you place with us and do our best to get it to you on time.
MOQ and delivery
At Sheffield Skincare Company we have a minimum order quantity of £200 to be eligible to receive our wholesale prices. Higher basket totals will give a better rate when buying in bulk
This minimum order is for all our products offered at wholesale, there is no minimum order on specific products, so you can share the cost across our whole range.
Cost of delivery can vary depending on the size of your order and the final weight of the products ordered. Generally most MOQ orders incur a charge of £10 - £20 delivery costs.
We will not deliver any goods until payment has been received from you.
Ordering and payment
Currently we accept orders and payments in these ways…
- We can set you up with a wholesale account, where you can access our wholesale prices, order through your account and pay directly through the website. (We would prefer this method if possible)
- Or call us at our HQ and we will take your order over the phone. When the order has been processed by the team and delivery weight and cost have been calculated we will send you an invoice for the total amount
- You can pay via PayPal if you wish, you can send this to our PayPal account via the information on the bottom of the invoice we send, or we can send you a direct PayPal invoice for you to pay.
- You are also able to pay for your order directly to our bank via a BACS payment (details will be in your invoice)
- ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE UNLESS SPECIFICALLY ARRANGED OTHERWISE, this has some flexibility for long standing customers when a relationship has developed over time.
We send all our Wholesale parcels via tracked delivery with UPS/DPD, as we have found them to be the most reliable company with the best reputation and customer service. When you place an order with us we will send you the relevant tracking information, so you can track the progress of your order. Please check your spam folders as they can often end up there.
Returns and Damages
If for any reason you are not happy with your order you can return it to us, in the same state as we sent it to you with in 14 days and we will offer you a full refund (please note we will be unable to refund delivery costs)
If on receipt of your goods, you find some of them have been damaged in transit, we will offer you a replacement or a full refund on the damaged items. Just give us a call or drop us an email within 7 days of receipt and we will sort this out for you. We may ask you to send us a photo of the damaged items. This allows us to make a full claim with UPS for any damaged items.
Please ensure that someone is at the address you provide us when the item is due for delivery and the place of delivery is safe (ie not shared corridors where public may be able to take your parcel) We cannot accept responsibility for parcels that have been signed for by someone and then not received by yourself or a trusted employee. If you don’t have a safe place to receive your goods we can arrange for them to be taken to a safe UPS pick up point.
The nature and the storage of products
Please be aware that our products are 100% natural and due to the nature of our products they need to be looked after and stored correctly, Sheffield Skincare company does not hold any responsibility for products not stored according to our guidance.
Be mindful of storage
All year round, natural products need to be stored in a cool, dry location where temperature doesn’t change repeatedly or drastically. This helps reduce the likelihood of fresh ingredients spoiling, melting and altering their molecular makeup. So please don’t store our products next to heaters or direct sources of heat. A dark cool store cupboard is best before you place them in a shop front.
We use glass and aluminium packaging as well as kraft boxes and biodegradable bags. An ideal temperature is to keep them below 25 degrees Celsius and above 5 degrees Celsius. Direct sunlight, UV rays and artificial light can impact your natural products, breaking down their consistency and creating heat in their containers, both of which can encourage the product to lose consistency and change the scent of the essential oils in the formulation
Our products are safe to be stored for up to 24 months when stored somewhere cool. The shelf life of a product, once it has been opened, will vary depending on the product this is usually 6-12 months. Each product will specify this on the labelling.
If you require dummy pots for a window display we can provide these for a small cost, ask for details if you are interested.
Samples and testers
Sheffield skincare can provide you with a tester for each wholesale product free (only with your first order) Any subsequent testers will need to be paid for by yourselves, (obviously at the wholesale rate) If this is something you wish us to provide. We do recommend you use testers as this will help to push sales by allowing people to ‘try before they buy’ Please let us know if you would like some testers with your first order, we wont send these out automatically
As discussed above our products generally have a shelf life of between 6 – 12 months when stored correctly upon opening. We recommend changing your samples/testers at least every six months to keep them fresh for your customers.
